Loved the location, very close to the train station and at the beginning of the next day's journey. the breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. the albergue had a beautifully restored interior, with nice clean rooms and a great garden in the backyard.
The bathrooms were not always inside the room, which could be slightly inconvenient. Some rooms had no heating in the bathroom, and the albergue wasn't well soundproofed, so it could get noisy at times.

The property is conveniently located near the train station and within walking distance of restaurants, pharmacies, and the Camino route. the host, Marcela, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us, even helping us replace our lost backpacks. the accommodation itself was beautifully decorated and comfortable, with pristine clean rooms and a cozy communal living room area.
Felt incredibly welcomed, no complaints at all.

A Sweet Stay in Sarria Right Near the Camino!
I had a really sweet stay at this cozy hotel in Sarria. The location was perfect, right near the Camino, making it convenient for starting my hiking adventure. The room was lovely and had a cute balcony window, adding a touch of charm. The staff at La Casona were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The breakfast they served was delicious, especially the pancakes. Although the bathrooms could have had better shower doors and the walls were a bit thin, these minor inconveniences didn't detract from my overall enjoyable experience. The only other small issue was that I couldn't connect my tablet to the wifi, but that didn't diminish the quality of my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location, cozy rooms, and warm hospitality.
